China has indisputable sovereignty over Xisha, Nansha Islands

China has indisputable sovereignty over Xisha and Nansha Islands and their adjacent waters, a spokesman of the Commissioner's Office of the Chinese Foreign Ministry in Hong Kong said Monday.

On July 6, dozens of Vietnamese residing in Hong Kong staged a demonstration, supporting Vietnamese government's claim for sovereignty over these territories.

"Despite all these clamors, the fact that China has indisputable sovereignty over the islands and their adjacent waters cannot be changed," the spokesman said.
