The photo released on May 13, 2013, shows a flying object emitting rays of light in skies over southern part of China, including Chongqing, Kunming, Hong Kong, Changsha, Haikou and Wuhan. The Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) clarified Tuesday that it sent up a rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Gansu Province at around 9:00 pm for aero-logical sounding.
