Founder of high temperature ceramic paints (1/5)

Photo taken on Dec. 22, 2009 shows a painting created by Teng Ting, the founder of a high temperature ceramic paints, in Jingdezhen, east China's Jiangxi Province. The 49-year-old Teng Ting is a professor at the Nanchang University as well as a special researcher of Dunhuang Academy. He created the high temperature ceramic paints, a new form of paints which can be painted on white porcelain directly and whose color would be stablized after baking in high temperature. Although the color system of the paints still requires improvement, experts believe the paints Teng created will become a new Chinese painting style.(Xinhua/Zhang Wu)
