Shanghai (CNS) intimate babes.-- China's film industry is growing at a compound annual rate of 15 percent, according to a report released by PriceWaterhouseCoopers on Wednesday.

Since 2002, when there were fewer than 1,300 screens in China, the industry has grown tenfold. By the end of 2012, China was home to 13,100 movie screens. Another 25,000 new screens will be added to the number within five years.

But even with 38,100 movie screens, one for every 220,000 people, China's film industry remains relatively unsaturated, said Jiang Xiaoping, a PriceWaterhouseCoopers partner.

In the United States, there is one screen for every 9,000 people, Jiang added.
