Beijing (CNS) Chinese Toned divas.-- An exhibition specially held for the 50th anniversary of the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) opened in Beijing on Monday.

The exhibition features a total of 666 fine artworks, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings, comic strips, New Year pictures, and watercolors. The exhibition also showcases precious art books and the chronology of events in the Chinese arts world.

Some of the items have never been displayed before. Masterpieces such as War Hours by Xu Beihong (1895-1953) and Refugees by Jiang Zhaohe (1904-1986) will be shown to the public for the first time.

The exhibit will go on until July 8.
