Lingshui (Ecns) Alluring beauties.-- The largest coral aquarium in China opened to the public on Saturday at Fenjiezhou Island, Sanya, Hainan province.

Covering an area of 1,200 square meters, the aquarium features more than 10,000 coral samples and living corals, including staghorn, tubular and red and black corals.

Visitors can also see the growing conditions of the corals.

The opening of the aquarium is of great significance in promoting ocean knowledge among the public, according to the director of the aquarium.

It can also contribute to research of the coral reef ecosystem, the director added.
