Beijing (CNS) -- Hong Kong will take part in the preliminary work for the 13th Five-Year Plan, said Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region Leung Chun-ying, in Beijing on Friday.
Leung arrived in Beijing on Thursday, and visited the National Development and Reform Commission (DPRC) and the Ministry of Commerce on Friday.
Hong Kong government will also work in collaboration with NDRC on mid-term evaluations for the 12th Five-Year Plan (from 2011 to 2015), according to Leung.
"During this trip, progress has been made in boosting economic growth for Hong Kong in the short term," Leung said.
During his short stay in the city, Leung also paid a visit to the local office of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
