Paris (CNS) - The Organizing Committee of the 66th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday announced the nine-member jury panel list, which includes Chinese director Ang Lee.
The double Oscar-winning director, who was nominated at the film festival for his film "Taking Woodstock" in 2009, is the third Chinese jury member of the festival, following Johnnie To and Shi Nan Sun.
Eight international movie personalities, led by triple Oscar-winner Steven Spielberg, will decide the Golden Palm Awards. Also on the jury are Australian actress Nicole Kidman, Indian actress Vidya Balan, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, British director Lynne Ramsay, French actor Daniel Auteuil, Romanian director Cristian Mungiu and Austrian actor Christoph Waltz.
