Beijing (CNS) -- China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co., Ltd. (CGNPC) said Wednesday that it has completed a wind power network across China and that overseas projects have also been launched.
The Morton's Lane wind farm in Victoria State, Australia, the CGNPC's first overseas wind power project, went into production in 2012, and a two-megawatt housetop project in the United States has been linked to the grid. A photovoltaic bioenergy power project in Singapore is also under construction, the group said.
Photovoltaic power generation bases have been built in China's Qinghai, Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia and Tibet, it added.
A photo-thermal power generation research center is also being built in Delingha in west China's Qinghai province, and a five-megawatt power generation base is in the planning stages, the group said.
