Taiyuan (CNS) -- Two officials have been arrested in Shanxi province for registering illegal hukou, or household registrations, to a former bank executive in neighboring Shaanxi province, according to the local procuratorate on Tuesday.
Gong Aiai, the former deputy chief of the Shenmu Rural Commercial Bank in Shaanxi, is accused of holding four hukou, one in Beijing and three in Shenmu county. She reportedly used some of them to purchase expensive real estate, including 20 properties worth 1 billion yuan in Beijing.
