Hong Kong (CNS) Chinese enrapturing ladies.-- Hong Kong's consumption potential will be unleashed by economic recovery in the mainland, according to Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah on Tuesday.

The mainland has been committed to realizing recovery by improving economic restructuring, supporting the development of the service industry, and accelerating the urbanization process, Tsang said.

Tsang pointed out that the policy incentives will support economic recovery while improving the livelihoods of people.

Consumption demand will be boosted when livelihoods are improved, which will benefit the consumer goods industry and the service sector in Hong Kong, Tsang said, adding that this represents a great opportunity for Hong Kong to boost its consumption capacity.
