Beijing (CNS) -- Think tanks in China and abroad predict that China's economic growth will be at least 8 percent this year.
China's Academy of Social Sciences said the country's gross domestic product will increase by 8.2 percent and its consumer price index will grow by 3 percent.
The Development Research Center under the State Council and the State Information Center both agreed that China's economy will grow by more than 8 percent this year.
The World Bank raised its 2013 economic growth forecast for China to 8.4 percent, citing the government's fiscal stimulus plans and faster approval of large investment projects.
