Beijing (CNS)-- China has made impressive breakthroughs in its effort to combat monopoly pricing practices, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) earlier today.

Since the implementation of China's Anti-monopoly Law in 2008, a total of 49 price-fixing cases have been investigated by the NDRC. Six major LCD panel producers, including Samsung Electronics Co., have been penalized for 353 million yuan (US$56.6 million), the commission said
