Wuhan (CNS) -- Air China's Hubei branch will launch a Wuhan-Beijing-Los Angeles route on Jan. 1, the Wuhan municipal government announced Sunday.
The past few years have witnessed closer economic ties between Wuhan and the United States, said Jiang Tiebing, Wuhan's deputy secretary general.
Flights to Australia, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur are also being planned, Jiang said, adding that there will be flights to Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok and Kaohsiung, as well Thailand's Chiang Mai and Da Nang in Vietnam.
A Wuhan-Shanghai-Los Angeles route is scheduled for April, he said.
