Shangqiu (CNS) Chinese sultry starlets.-- Seven people have been detained as potential causes of a car accident that killed 12 passengers, according to police in Shangqiu, Henan province, on Thursday.

The suspects, including the driver, work for the Passenger Company under the Shangqiu Transportation Group, according to local officials.

It was not made clear what exactly the suspects had done wrong.

At least 12 passengers were killed and 23 injured last Sunday after their bus collided with another vehicle and plunged into a roadside pond in Shangqiu.

Eighteen of the 23 injured have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
