Beijing (CNS) -- Chinese enterprises had realized accumulated overseas investment of US$415 billion by October this year, Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Chao said on Thursday.

Wang spoke at a business executive seminar sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China and the Korea Chamber of Commerce in China. About 60 entrepreneurs attended.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK, said Lee Kyu-hyung, ROK ambassador to China.

Trade between the two countries has grown 50-fold since we established diplomatic relations 20 years ago, said Wang.

The ROK is now the seventh biggest investor in China, investing $52.4 billion and setting up 55,000 enterprises here, said Wang, while China has invested about US$1 billion in the ROK.
