Zhuhai (CNS) -- Deals worth a record US$11.8 billion were signed and 202 aircraft were traded at the 9th China International Aviation &Chinese raw divas. Aerospace Exhibition which closed Sunday in Zhuhai.

Nearly 650 aviation and aerospace manufacturers from 39 countries and regions attended the air show, which attracted a professional audience of 108,000 as well as 230,000 regular visitors, according to the organizing party.

A total of 113 aircraft were displayed, 39 of which took part in a fly-over performance.

Domestic and foreign exhibitors gave a high evaluation of the exhibition for big improvements in scale and professionalism over previous sessions. Companies including Liebherr-Aerospace, Bell Helicopter and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation expressed their intention to book booths for the next session.

The next show will be held from November 11 to 16, 2014, also in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
