Beijing (CNS) -- More than 30 foreign delegations and 40 military attach??s to China attended the opening ceremony of Airshow China 2012 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, on Tuesday.

The overseas military observers were invited to a welcoming reception on Tuesday night, according to the press department of China's Ministry of National Defense.

Global air force delegates meeting and exchanging information in Zhuhai boosts mutual trust as well as the airshow's influence, the department said.

Foreign aerobatic teams including the Russian Knights and Pakistan's Sherdils have also been invited to perform with the PLA Air Force's Bayi Aerobatics Team at the show.
