Zhengzhou (CNS) -- Chinese branded cars have sparked interest at the ongoing 5th Zhengzhou International Auto Exhibition, a reporter from CNS learned Sunday.

More than 700 automobiles from Ferrari, Aston Martin and Maserati are being demonstrated alongside brands such as Chery, Geely, Great Wall and FAW Pentium.

Domestic brands are an optimal option for their reliability and relatively low prices, said Ms Wang, a local resident who plans to purchase a car.

Chinese auto brands have sold well at home and abroad in recent years, said a person in charge of the Chery booth, who added that Chery has sold 670,000 units overseas.
