Zhengzhou (CNS) -- A three-day job fair targeting people with disabilities opened Wednesday at Foxconn's Zhengzhou plant, which is offering 500 posts at the same pay rate as normal workers.

Foxconn, an important supplier to Apple Inc., aims to recruit 200,000 workers to complete orders for the iPhone5 at the plant in north-central China.

Disabled candidates should be 30 years old or younger, able to walk without mechanical assistance and able to understand sign language or communicate through writing.

Local authorities said they will cover expenses for round-trip tickets and room and board for those who attend the job fair. They will also buy bedding for people who are recruited.
