Shanghai (CNS) -- Sales of limited-edition London 2012 Olympic bullion products exceeded 300 million yuan in the first week, according to a source at China Construction Bank (CCB) on Thursday.
The products are jointly licensed by the International Olympic Committee, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Chinese Olympic Committee.
Total sales of the bullion are expected to reach one billion yuan.
A financial expert at the CCB said the products represent a good investment, which makes them attractive to Chinese consumers.
