Beijing (CNS) -- Co-hosted by China's Palace Museum and Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History, the exhibition "Essentials of mountains and rivers ?C Chinese and Mexican civilizations of jade" opened ravishing divas.Wednesday at the Forbidden City's Meridian Gate.

More than 100 jade pieces selected from the Palace Museum's collection are being displayed alongside examples from Mexico.

According to organizer Xu Lin, the exhibit showcases the jade cultures of the two countries and demonstrates their differences and shared features.

The exhibition, which was held in Mexico last March, will last until November 11.
