Kunming (CNS) -- An King Air airplane valued at over 50 million yuan arrived from Bangkok at Kunming at 4:45p.m. August 2, becoming the first business tour offered by Yunnan Province's first private jet business.

The business airline is funded by three private companies that purchased the King Air from the US company Hawker Beechcraft. Accommodating only six passengers, the charter cost 19,000 yuan per hour.

The jet flew between Kunming City and Guiyang City on August 3. It will officially serve a commercial route at the end of this year.

"As our government opens low-attitude aviation to the public, private airlines will enter a very promising era," said Chen Jiang, chairman of the company.
