Guangzhou (CNS) -- The Guangdong government has funded 44 major construction projects using money tendered from enterprises under different types of ownership, local authorities said Monday at a press conference.

The projects worth a total of 235.3 billion yuan include transportation, urban construction, industrial parks and tourism.

Private capital can be used for projects in multiple ways, such as sole proprietorship, holding shares and public-private partnerships, said Li Chunhong, director of the provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Li said they have no restraints on Hong Kong capital, and welcome Hong Kong companies to take part in the railway sector.
