Sanya (CNS) -- Thirty fishing boats in Hainan Province spontaneously formed into six teams and headed for the waters off Nansha Islands from the port of Sanya City on July 12, knowing there would be a good catch.
They are in the Sansha Fish Farm near Yongshu Reef of Nansha Islands, and the boat teams intend to carry on for 20-days plying the waters here.
One 3,000-ton comprehensive supply ship leads 29 fishing boats, providing them with oil, water, ice and other necessities. Each boat has fifteen to sixteen fishermen on board.
Liang Yapai, 67, said he felt excited about going fishing at the fish farm, and hoped to have a safe trip as well as a good harvest.
