Hunchun (CNS) -- On the morning of June 29, a cruise ship departed China for North Korea's Jingang Mountain, leaving Quanhe Port of Hunchun City with 100 Chinese tourists. This was the maiden voyage for the new line, opened especially for Chinese tourists eager to see the very favorably reviewed Jingang Mountain destination.
The tourist group will take in a panorama of Luoxian City in North Korea, then visit Jingang Mountain and other attractions in the area including temples, a waterfall and pool, said Chi Jin, general manager of Yanbian Tianyu International Tourism Agency. The whole journey will last four days.
Yan's company was the only agency that was deemed qualified to operate this new corridor between China and Korea. They plan to organize a tour to Jingang Mountain every month.
