Istanbul (CNS) -- Famous Chinese tennis player Li Na was defeated by Victoria Azarenka of Belarus during Thursday's game, with a 2-6 2-6, making Friday's battle against Samantha Stosur Li's last chance in WTA.
Previously, Li won four times of all five encounters with Azarenka. During this season, Li defeated Azarenka twice in the Australian Open and French Open on her way to a champion and a second place.
Stosur won all five games with Li, making it more challenging for Li to reverse the disadvantaged situation.
Li, champion of the 2011 French Open, was ranked by the Forbes among the most notable global females in 2012.
