China stocks open higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.89 percent, or 27.79 points, to open at 3,156.09.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,077.48, up 1.04 percent, or 114.34 points.
