China stocks open higher Thursday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening 0.67 percent, or 19.93 points higher at 2,992.46 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 10,350.94 points, up 0.57percent, or 58.42 points.
