China stocks open higher Wednesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening 0.22 percent, or 6.59 points higher at 3,039.21 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 10,614.12 points, up 0.41percent, or 43.34 points.
