China stocks open lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,428.27 points, down 1.76 points, or 0.07 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,231.50, down 8.64 points, or 0.10 percent.
