China stocks open higher Thursday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,352.87 points, up 9.29 points, or 0.40 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,137.33, up 37.11 points, or 0.46 percent.
