China stocks open slightly lower Thursday

Chinese stocks opened slightly lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,315.73 points, down 2.57 points, or 0.11 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,153.52, down 5.07 points, or 0.06 percent.
