China stocks open higher on Sept 1

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,220.13 points, up 0.13 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,852.91, up 11.21 points, or 0.14 percent.
