China stocks close higher Wednesday

Chinese shares closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.11 percent to finish at 2,209.47 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.35 percent to close at 7,841.07 points.
