China stocks close lower Tuesday

Chinese shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.99 percent to finish at 2,207.11 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 1.52 percent to close at 7,813.98 points.
