China stocks open slightly lower Friday

Chinese stocks opened slightly lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,228.97 points, down 1.48 points, or 0.07 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,003.53, down 7.18 points, or 0.09 percent.
