China stocks open mixed Wednesday

Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,178.18 points, down 5.01 points, or 0.23 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,867.93, up 0.89 point, or 0.01 percent.
