China stocks open higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,179.83 points, up 1.88 points, or 0.09 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,828.35, up 19.69 points, or 0.25 percent.
