China to lift market access barriers

China will lift barriers to market access by working out a negative list for market players, according to a notice released by the State Council, the country's cabinet, on Tuesday.

The State Council will specify the bans and restrictions on market access to certain sectors, areas and businesses, so if a sector, area or business is not on the list, market players can equally enter the market without any restriction, the notice said.
