Chinese stocks close lower Tuesday

Chinese shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 19.29 points, or 0.93 percent, to finish at 2,066.70.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 85.61 points, or 1.15 percent, to close at 7331.37.
