Chinese stocks close higher Tuesday

Chinese shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 22.03 points, or 1.08 percent, to finish at 2,052.53.

The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 114.42 points, or 1.58 percent, to close at 7,341.66.
