Chinese stocks close mixed on Tuesday

Chinese shares closed mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.94 points, or 0.15 percent, from a three-week low to close at 2,008.12.

The Shenzhen Component Index remained barely unchanged at 7,151.18, or slightly down by 0.31 points.
