Chinese stocks close mixed Wednesday

Chinese shares closed mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.26 percent, or 5.45 points, to finish at 2,067.38.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained by 0.59 percent, or 43.51 points, to close at 7,434.73.
