Chinese stocks close higher Wednesday

Chinese shares closed slightly higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.17 percent, or 3.52 points, to finish at 2,105.12.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.25 percent, or 18.76 points, to close at 7,468.46.
