China stocks slump more than 2 pct on Friday

Chinese shares extended losses on the previous trading day by slumping more than 2 percent on Friday.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index tumbled 2.02 percent, or 43 points, to finish at 2,084.79.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 2.22 percent, or 180.99 points, to finish at 7,966.72.
