Chinese shares ended mixed on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.04 percent, or 0.91 points, to close at 2,133.87.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.51 percent, or 42.93 points, to close at 8,336.68.
