Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

Gold price went up 108 HK dollars to open at 12,030 HK dollars per tael in Hong Kong on Monday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,301.32 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 11.68 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.76 HK dollars.
