Chinese shares closed mixed on Wednesday after a rally of five consecutive trading days.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.12 percent, or 2.71 points, to end at 2,302.40. The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.02 percent, or 1.53 points, to 9,405.06.
