Taiwan's share prices closed 0.17 percent higher on Tuesday with the weighted index rising 13.94 points to 7,913.18, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
The local bourse fluctuated between 7,924.46 and 7,879.55 during the day's trading. Turnover totaled 57.46 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 1.93 billion U.S. dollars) during the trading session.
